I'm Christio.

I am a human trying to create something beyond sound, electricity, and mortality.

Intro by M83.

This moment was magic.. Even if Zola Jesus didn’t show up.

#6: M83- Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming
The soundtrack to my electric dreams. Listening to this album on repeat at work made each busy day pass with ease. With each listen of this album, I got transported into a part of my soul that believed anything is possible. Midnight City is obviously standout. Raconte-Moi Une Histoire is so cute and innocent. It makes me happy to think of childhood again, but in the end, sad that I’ve become an adult. As I said before, this album is a fantastic example of that electronic music can be more than sound coming from a plug in the wall.
Key tracks: Intro, Midnight City, Raconte-Moi Une Histoire

#8: Intro by M83 featuring Zola Jesus

We carry on, carry on..

I know everyone creamed their pants over Midnight City (I did too), but this one is fucking magical. It still gives me chills. The whole song has such a dreamlike quality to it, starting almost like a nightmare and finishing off with that blissful explosion of sound. Anthony and Nika are an odd pair when you first think about it, but the final product is perfection. It’s actually sort of funny to hear her on such a happy song. But on a serious note, I really do admire this song and the album itself. I feel like M83 is one of those acts thats progressing electronic music, and showing the world it’s possibilities and abilities. A true inspiration.
